Iouri Oliinik's ICCRC number R 506848 & Professional Credentials

Mr. Oliinik started his career as a translator/interpreter for the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board in 1993.

He used to work as an independent consultant/advisor with Canadian Provincial/Federal Governmental agencies, businesses and several law firms in Saskatchewan and Alberta, handling translation, business consulting and immigration projects & assignments. From 1995 to 2003, he also worked with the Saskatchewan Justice Department (Public Trustee Office) and provided translation services and assistance with international estate administration.

In 2011 Mr. Oliinik started his own immigration advocacy/consulting practice and became a member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants [CICC] (formerly known as Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) immediately since its inception. As a professional immigration consultant/counsel and advocate, Mr. Oliinik ensures immigration advocacy/consulting services within the limits of Canadian law while maintaining full compliance with ICCRC's Code of Ethics and Rules of Professional Conduct published on ICCRC's website. He is a Canadian Regulated Immigration Consultant in good standing with CICC.

In the recent past, Mr. Oliink became a Competency Committee member who worked with other RCIC's from across Canada to develop competency requirements & standards. He provided valuable feedback on developing competency requirements with ICCRC while transitioning to the “College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants” – a new regulator for RCICs and RISIAs.

In February -June 2021, Mr. Oliinik actively participated as one of the Subject Matter Experts in developing evaluation criteria for immigration consultants who want to engage in the Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) process and certification with the Immigration and Refugee Board's Immigration, Immigration Appeal, Refugee Protection and Refugee Appeal Divisions. Due to the seriousness and complexity of his recent cases, three of them were used as the foundation basis for the development of testing and evaluation criteria.

In addition to having a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, Mr. Oliinik also specializes in Business Immigration, Business Startup Visas, resume/professional portfolio preparation, career planning & consulting to meet and exceed clients' expectations.
